Your aura is a part of your natural defense system. It is a multi-layered energy field that forms a protective cocoon around your body. The aura is made of energies that are too subtle to be noticeable to the untrained eye. One main purpose of the aura is to protect you from negative energies that may be in your surroundings. Negative energy in your environment or negativity projected towards you either intentionally or inadvertently by the thoughts of others may be absorbed by your aura. Your own thoughts, feelings, emotions and experiences may cause constant changes in the appearance of your aura. Unresolved issues, suppressed feelings and even past-life trauma can cause energy blocks in the aura and these may disrupt the natural flow of energy that is essential for your physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
The ability to see the aura is a gift that people with psychic abilities are born with. Yet, seeing the aura is a skill that can be acquired by anyone ready to put in some effort towards learning and mastering this skill. One way to see the aura is to train yourself to see it visually. While this may come easily for some, others may find it easy to learn how to sense the aura and may struggle to actually see it.
Learn To Sense The Aura
Although you may have never seen your own or someone elses’ aura, there may have been times when you have intuitively known that it exists. One common experience is when you are feeling upbeat and energetic before you walk into a room and for some unexplained reason feel completely drained of energy, all of a sudden, when you are in the room. Certain people may have a similar impact on you. This is attributed to negative energies that may be present in that space or the negative intentions of the person towards you. Spaces may even hold residual negative energies, such as spaces or buildings where human suffering was experienced on a mass scale. You can consciously train yourself to sense how the aura of other people or the energy of spaces impacts your own energy. Learning how to sense the aura can be the first step to seeing it.
Practice Seeing The Aura
Being able to see the aura is something you can learn quite easily. Train yourself to see it by following these simple steps.
Improve Your Concentration
Being able to hold your focus is an essential step to learning how to see the aura. You can train yourself to focus by concentrating on a certain spot for a few seconds. Your mind may wander while you are trying out this exercise. Just bring back your focus on the spot you were focusing on and continue with the exercise. Over a period of time increase the time you focus on the spot by a few more seconds each time.
How to See Auras – How to See Your Own
You can train to see your own aura with the help of a mirror. Practicing this exercise in a dimly lit room or very early in the morning is ideal. Placing a source of light on either side of the mirror can enable you to see your aura more quickly. Sit or stand in front of a mirror and look at your reflection. Now look at a spot just over one of your shoulders. Hold your gaze until your vision gets blurry. After a while, you may start to see a white glow around your head. This is the first glimpse of your aura. You may see the glow soon after trying or it may take some practice before you start seeing your aura.
See The Aura Of Another Person
You can work with a partner and train how to see each others aura. Create an ambiance that is similar to when you are training to see your own aura. Train in a dimly lit room and ensure that the colors of the background are light colored. Stand facing your partner and look at him or her. Hold your gaze until your partner’s form starts to look a little out of focus. You may want to focus on a certain area such as the shoulder or the head area. You may start to perceive a white energy field surrounding your partner. You may or may not see the colors of the aura at this point. Regular practice gives more power to your auric vision. Even if you are unable to perceive the colors of the aura initially, with time, you will perhaps see the different colors, hues and color combinations of the aura.
